Concert Hall -- San Francisco Conservatory of Music Jihee Moon is a dynamic and expressive pianist whose artistry is marked by profound sensitivity, technical brilliance, and a deep commitment to musical collaboration. Currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University Bloomington, she holds a full-tuition scholarship and serves as an Assistant Instructor under the guidance of renowned pianist Norman Krieger. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she also minored in Brain and Cognitive Sciences (Music Cognition) and was a candidate for the prestigious Chamber Music Certificate Program, studying with Ran Dank and Professor Emerita Natalya Antonova. Jihee’s musical foundation was cultivated under the mentorship of Anne Epperson, Mikyung Kim, Younghee Lee, and Natalya Antonova, further enriched by masterclasses with luminaries such as Vladimir Feltsman, Arie Vardi, Norma Fisher, Tamás Ungár, Claudio Martínez Mehner, and Kristian Bezuidenhout. An avid soloist and chamber musician, she has graced stages at Kilbourn Hall (Rochester), Van Cliburn Concert Hall (Fort Worth), Mozart Hall, Icheon Art Hall (South Korea), and the First Congregational Parish of Truro (Massachusetts). As the pianist of the NEO Piano Trio, she actively engages in diverse chamber music collaborations. A laureate of multiple competitions, Jihee has claimed First Prize at the Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Scholarship Competition (2025) and the Crescendo International Music Competition (2020), Second Prize at the Korean New York Daily Times Symphony Orchestra Competition (2023), and was a Semi-Finalist at the Washington International Piano Competition (2024) and Finalist at the KBS-KEPCO Piano Competition (2022). Her academic and artistic merits have been recognized through awards including the Mildred E. Allen Memorial Piano Award, Muriel E. Klepper Scholarship, and Anne M.
