The landing field of this newly built airport will be 3200 meters. The new terminal building, designed with solar energy infrastructure, has grown by 108,000 m2 compared to the old one. In this way, the terminal, whose passenger capacity has increased up to 15 million, has been designed for further expansion. The exterior cladding works of 50,000 m2 of the project, which has a total cost of approximately 400 million Euros, were carried out by Çuhadaroğlu Aluminum Sanayi company. The flat façades of the terminal building is built with the MN50 system, which has micro condensate channels and high thermal insulation features, as well as with a specially designed system with a sunshade with multi-directional movement option compatible with MN50 system. MN50 SC silicone facade system, which adds visual elegancy to the highly thermally insulated structure with micro condensate channels, was preferred on diagonally inclined facades. SKY 50 skylight system was preferred for terminal roof skylight facade claddings.
