SPOILERS OBVS ------------------ The Prep: ---------- I prepared MAJORLY for this fight as the first few attempts were unsuccessful. Protection from Evil/Good, a set of Heavy Armor for Shart with frighten immunity, Hero's Feast, lots of elixirs and radiant spells, as well as a lot of summons. The Trick: ----------- The "help" action method of freeing Astarion was told to me by a friend, and I feel like it might be an oversight or a loophole method of winning this one. Either way, you want to select the Help action from your wheel or action bar and then Click Astarion. you cannot click on him directly and use Help. Fight Description: ---------------- Since the beginning of the combat was cut off, here's the gist of what happened to start: My Tav (Tenebrae) used a Transposition Arrow to get to Astarion. Karlach did her Karlach thing and smashed stuff. Then used a scroll of Dimension Door to get herself and Shart away from the fray. Shart used Wall of Stone (somewhat successfully) to create a barrier between the party and most of the baddies. Follow me on Twitch to see more BG3 gameplay!
