Welcome to #EdLeighsMoneySavingSnowTips | Ep 29 | Black Friday First up do your research before next Monday when a lot of the deals start. Do it now. Snowboarders should check out the Whitelines snowboard buyer’s guide while skiers are best served by Cat Weakley’s gear reviews in the Telegraph. Work out what you need, what you want, what you can afford and take it from there. More than ever at this time of year it’s worth signing up to newsletters and regularly checking the social feeds of your favourite brands, stores, tour operators and travel brands. For Ellis Brigham you can sign up for early access to their Black Friday deals. Head to this page for TSA, they have good sale stuff up already along with more Black Friday deals coming next week. Snow & Rock will have some deals and Surfdome is releasing its best deals on Monday 25th November. Absolute Snow already has 15 per cent off until 2nd December or until things run out first, and that can be a problem with Black Friday so if you like something you do need to move fast. At the time of writing they have snowboards from £145, skis from £168 and helmets from £50. Intersport has some great discount deals for ski hire in resort. Use the code WHITEFRIDAY when you check out. For flights, Skyscanner has set up this handy tool to find the best Black Friday deals, and while you’re there it’s worth signing up for their low price alerts, where you’ll get emailed whenever the price drops on your favourite route, all eyes on Geneva! For tour operators, keep an eye out for Ski World, Alpine Elements, Crystal Ski and Neilson. And Chalets Direct have some decent reductions. I’ve only listed trusted companies and gear suppliers here, and I’d advise you to beware of suspicious mega deal offers that sound too good to be true. Which Magazine has some good tips on how not to get scammed on Black Friday. This is one of those weeks where we really need your input too. What ace snow deals have you noticed for Black Friday and where? Pls do leave your comments below. Cheers for now Ed! #edleighsmoneysavingsnowtips #edsnowtips
