Cragside + Humbleton Hill Paragliding in Wooler Northumberland

Today I visit Cragside sat on the edge of Rothbury and later, take a walk up Humbleton Hill on the edge of Wooler Northumberland to watch as my brother paraglides off the top of it. Whilst at Cragside Gardens, Rothbury, I'll walk a handful of the trails including: The Armstrong Trail which takes in the archimedes screw, iron bridge, pinetum, Powerhouse and Waterwheel. I'll also complete part of the Nelly’s Moss lakes walk, Peach walk which takes in the Cragside Flume and a exploration of the Labyrinth. We'll also take the campervan through the Cragside Drive, which is a 6 mile circular Carriage Drive - something I've never seen from a National Trust property before! I'll take a tour of the impressive Cragside House (Northumberland), a home that is Illuminated with hydro-electricity and powered by hydraulics, and was done this way, long before 'smart homes' became popular. I'll check out the wonderful kitchen with its gadgets such as a water-powered rotating spit and an early dishwasher, not to mention the double height ceiling and windows for maximum ventilation.
