This trip was HARD! I strapped on my skis, travelled 50km along the Russian border to an Island that separates Estonia and Russia. I had an oppurtunity to visit local homes, sleep in a snow shelter, be hungry and tired, and explore the island and the world that is so different to the one we mostly live in - endless ice fields around you, just you, the quiet and howling winds.
