Canada - Day Sailing a C&C 29 around Toronto Island on Lake Ontario

It was another fantastic day sail out of National Yacht Club based out of Toronto. Come join me on a sail-along on a C&C 29 sailing boat. With the wind coming from the northeast, the sailing vessel Defiant initially sailed out on a starboard tack, leaving the city behind. Once we were past the Toronto Islands to our left, we tacked again and headed towards the Eastern Gap to sail into Harbourfront. To sail into the Eastern Gap on one tack, we needed to sail close-hauled as much as possible without pinching.
