For 75 summers, the pines have stood watch over ministry at Lake Forest Ranch. Children have run through the trees, losing their belongings along the way. Counselors have prayed with campers in the same quiet porches. Morning watch songs have echoed across the same lake that catches the light just so, day after day. The summer of 2025 brought its own kind of wonder. GoKarts hummed around the lake's edge. Forrest Frank echoed by the poolside. Campers found shelter in the comfort of air-conditioned cabins from the never-ending rain. But in all the change, the heartbeat of camp held steady. We still open each week with hamburgers and water basketball. We still close it with testimonies and watermelon. Bible study and worship remain the anchor of our days. And at the center of it all is a staff—faithful, joyful, servant-hearted. They cook and clean. They teach and pray. They protect and guide. They are the feet of Jesus here. Each summer staff is its own story.
