If you're traveling somewhere new, I think it's worth seeking out the local underground comics scene. It's a great way to connect with an authentic part of the culture, and supporting local artists is a fantastic use of your travel budget. I was in Prague recently and did just that, hunting for underground comics and finding a small but cool haul that I share in this video. I don’t speak Czech, so it’s the art and visual storytelling that I’m connecting to here. If you’re in the Czech Republic or know more about these comics, please let me know if I missed anything—I’d love to hear your thoughts or get further reading suggestions in the comments! 00:00 Intro 00:23 Tajemný Ostaš by Jirka Kopecký 03:08 Telefon by Murin Wolf 04:37 Rudý děs #01 by Kryštof Franciško 06:05 Rychlé šípy #06 by Jaroslav Foglar and Jan Fischer, with D.
