In this brief video series I will cover the essential techniques of the three Master Teachers of the new American acting method. The teachers are Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, and Stella Adler. These three acting teachers went and studied under Constantin Stanislavski and came back to America where they founded the group Theater which was dedicated to interpreting the Works of Stanislawski and creating a new method for American actors. After a Time Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg and Sanford Meisner split up to form their own acting methods and these three forms of teaching are responsible for most of the success that American actors have enjoyed since the 1950s.
