Modular synth jam with sampled JP08 melodies. I've added a bit of a melody to this one, which is reminiscent of Kraftwerk and also The Phantom Band (Scottish band, no longer going sadly, but their first album Checkmate Savage was awesome!) I started playing around with a poly chord sequence on the ‪@rolandglobal‬ JP08 and then sampled it to the ‪@WeAreElektron‬ Digitakt2, then sampled a second sequence on a separate track. Then I added a simple bassline on the ‪@intellijel‬ Atlantis, and a couple of simple bleeps - first one on the ‪@StudioElectronics‬ Slim-O and ‪@Dreadbox-synths‬ Hysteria going through the #mutableinstruments Ripples, and the second one on the ‪@busycircuits‬ MCO going through the ‪@EricaSynths‬ Black Dual VCF. Then for drums I have the @ShakmatModular Battering Ram for kick, the @patchingpanda Hatz V2 for hats, the @tiptop-audio CP909 and SD909 for clap and snare. I also added a couple of hihat and click samples on the Digitakt2 to keep things interesting. I wasn't really sure where to take this one - it was more of a sketch than a performance, but I think it sounds pretty nice.
