This video is about Tea dyed paper and how I alphabet stencil my papers. I use tea water, because using tea to make paper look old, gives that lovely golden aged colour with random markings that are ideal for vintage junk journal papers. Chuck in the plastic stencil and you can achieve this cool lettering tea dyed right into the paper. This technique can also be used using coffee instead of tea, no probs. If you don’t have an alphabet stencil use a plastic doily that turns out really cool as well. I demonstrate how to age paper in a small space, so you don’t have to have a large area. If you don’t want to make a tea bath just paint the tea water on with a wide paint brush, it still works mighty fine!
