In Part 2 of our Japan series, we’re diving into our first 24 hours in Tokyo – and of course, we start with food. After finally touching down, we head straight to Sushi Edomaru for some incredible fatty tuna and uni. Back at our Tokyo hotel, we do a deep-dive taste test of Japanese 7-Eleven snacks and drinks, trying as many things as we can find from the convenience store. The next morning, we explore a rainy Asakusa, wander through Senso-ji’s streets, and get completely lost in the legendary Don Quijote. That’s when we realize we made a huge packing mistake… it’s way colder than we expected! Cue an emergency Uniqlo run for warmer clothes, a dash back to the hotel, and a race to make it in time to catch the Romancecar to Hakone.
