Building a Gundam Diorama | UK Gunpla Buildoff 2025 Competition Entry

Welcome! In this video, I build a war-torn urban Gundam diorama from scratch, featuring RX-78-2, Guncannon, and Guntank in a destroyed city environment. This project was created as my entry for the UK Gunpla Competition, with the theme Urban. Starting from rough sketches and basic materials, I take you through the entire process — from planning and construction to detailing, painting, weathering, and final pigments. I work mainly with XPS foam and foam board, keeping things as simple and cost-effective as possible, while focusing on volume, damage, and storytelling within the scene. Along the way, I share techniques, mistakes, and problem-solving — because that’s all part of the build.
