In this keynote, Ana introduces the UX Research Pocket Calculator, a versatile tool developed internally to aid in task and effort planning that attendees can replicate and incorporate into their own workflows that her and her team at Outsystems developed to mitigate the Planning Fallacy. Acknowledging cognitive biases and inflated expectations of AI, and implementing strategies such as thorough planning, conducting research to understand the problem at hand and task complexity, and buffer allocation to address dependencies and uncertainty.
