Hello neighbor, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Airlift WirelessONE EZ Mount Air Compressor with Bluetooth capabilities on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Adding airbags to a Tacoma is definitely a great upgrade if you're doing any overlaying and you have a bunch of equipment in the back or if you're towing trailers, this is really gonna translate much better overall to be able to really support the suspension without having the truck squat down. But the downside with airbags is you have generally a manual fill valve where you have to fill that up with a compressor either at home or out on the road. You'll need either a portable compressor or stop at a gas station and you can eliminate all of that by getting on onboard air, and that's what we've done here with our compressor. And this system is actually really easy to put in place. If you install the airbags yourself, this is gonna be a cakewalk And a lot of that comes down to the fact that it's all super easy to not only mount up. We ended up bolting this up to our frame and using a self-tapping screw but there's also a bracket that's included to be able to get that mounted up. You also have a wiring harness that's pretty well already laid out, so you just have to run that up to the battery. You have to run an air filter just to pull that air, and then back to your bags, which seems like a lot, but really none of it's terribly hard to do. You don't need to be a wiring expert to do this. The relatively small footprint makes it so we can mount it up on our frame rail and it's pretty much out of sight. I don't worry about any ground clearance issues with this compressor in place. Now this does not have a inboard tank, so you're not gonna be running any auxiliary stuff off of that, but this is gonna be great to be able to fill up those bags on the fly. And there's two different ways that you can do it from the kit. There's a controller that allows you to adjust that from the comfort of your truck or you can download the app and use your phone to adjust it. This takes the guesswork out of any leaks that you may have on airbags or maintaining that minimum five psi that you're required to on bags. A lot of times, if you're just normally driving, you may kind of forget about that air pressure. And if it dips below that, your bags can be, you know, worn down a little bit earlier by not having that pressure. Well, the great part about having a digital readout of how much pressure you have, you'll know immediately if you have a leak, but also it's gonna maintain that five psi at all times. This compressor can also run up to 100 psi, which works out great for our airlift bags that we have installed. Now, something I will say is you don't have to have airlift bags for this airlift compressor to work. This will work with any other brand you may have. So if you have Firestone bags, not to worry, this will work with them. Overall, the installation of this is super easy. Again, I mentioned if you've done the bags yourself, this isn't a whole lot different. You're gonna be underneath the vehicle. You will have to run that wire up to the engine bay, but again, that harness is altogether so it's pretty easy to do and I'll walk you through step by step to make sure you get yours installed. That way, you can adjust your airbags at the push of a button. And to begin your installation, we're gonna need to determine where we're gonna mount up our compressor. And you have a bunch of different options. On our bracket, there's gonna be some holes that you can use, a U-bolt that will clamp around your frame. The downside with a smaller truck like this is if we've run it in that position, there really isn't a whole lot of ground clearance to work with here. So we're gonna probably put it in this orientation and you can change it up. There's just two things you need to make sure you're not doing. You don't want the Airlift logo facing down and you also don't want this electrical connector facing down. And I'm gonna go with this orientation. We are gonna kind of have to backtrack our filter, but the main reason I'm doing it this way is because our air port or where we run the air out to our bags is gonna be down here rather than u
