FoEhints: Answers about the harvest barn in Forge of Empires We all hope that InnoGames will make some changes so that everyone on the player worlds can bring the Harvest Barn to level 4. Unfortunately, as shown in the video for the fall event, without diamonds level 4 is only possible for 20% of the players. This has obviously raised a lot of questions. Is the set worth it if the barn is only at level 3 and you have all the fields? Paying off is always relative. It's worth it if you can't better use the large area occupied by the farm by using other buildings instead. For many players it's worth it, because the fields are already really good and in their entirety this still is a great set. And maybe the missing upgrade will come in a year. I explained in the video for the autumn event how it came about that I had a Selection Kit more than I needed. I just got myself a field for it and built it additionally. This also has all the necessary neighbors and therefore full bonuses. This opens up any number of combinations and expansion possibilities. There are no limits to your imagination. Now the barn is not a very small building. Some people ask: Can the set be built without the barn? Clearly yes! All fields have their full bonuses if they have enough other fields as neighbors. The Harvest Barn is not needed for this. This could be a good strategy. Maybe some players even prefer to take more fields instead of upgrading the barn. It is important not to bet only on one field type. Valid neighbors are only fields of a different type. In this example the additional Ochre Yard has no second neighbor, because the 2nd adjacent field is of the same type. There are still enough combination possibilities to use the fields that provide the really needed bonuses. And that makes it really interesting for all players.
