In this video, I walk you through a complete DIY ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) drain and fill on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. 🚗 Vehicle: 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS 🧰 Tools Used: 3/8" Ratchet, Drain Pan, Torque Wrench, 24mm Socket, Breaker Bar, Pittsburgh Manual Pump 🛢️ Fluid Used: AISIN SP-IV ATF 🔁 This is part of a multi-step drain and fill series to gradually refresh the old ATF without performing a full flush. My car had 164k miles and had never had a fluid change, so I’m doing this 3 times — at ~200- and ~600-mile intervals. ⚠️ Important: This is not a full flush. Each drain removes about 3 quarts out of 7.
