Name: Malus Title: Grand Gigas Subtitle: Grandis Supernus (Grand Superior) This should have been up much sooner but I'm still having internet troubles. I might be switching ISPs some time this month and if I do, I'll be uploading a lot more. Time for the final battle. Malus is easily the hardest colossus, as it should be. I've been running into a lot of final bosses that are pushovers. ಠ_ಠ As soon as you start getting close Malus starts firing at you. I show off how much damage each shot does because you can't dodge it, which is why there are places you can hide behind everywhere. After going through all of that and getting to Malus' feet, you start climbing. I had to record the second half of the ending seperately because one of the wires got disconnected. Going through this battle again, I fell off 4 times. ಠ_ಠ This is probably my favorite battle in the game. The thunderstorm effect looks fantastic and while there's no real "battle music" playing, the music that is playing is disconcerting/haunting and it all comes together very, very well. And while this doesn't only apply to the battle with Malus, the sense of vertigo while staying atop of it is amazing. If you didn't get it already, I'm a total geek about this game. Now that all of the colossi are defeated, time for the ending. The ending is split up into 2 parts and I want to upload them together so they'll probably be up monday night/tuesday morning. The ideal situation would be my partnership going through quickly, my 15 minute time limit being removed and even though I'd have to re-encode the video, I'd much rather have the fantastic ending in a single video.
