Double murder case solved by Joint team of PS Harsh Vihar and Operations Cell/NE. Four accused involved in the crime arrested. One semi-automatic pistol, one country-made pistol (katta) alongwith one live cartridge, and two motorcycles—an Apache RTR (No. DL-8SBT-3469) and a Hero Splendor without a registration plate used in the commission of crime recovered. On 05.09.2025, in the evening, a firing incident was reported in C-Block, Pratap Nagar, at PS Harsh Vihar. In this incident, two persons—Sudhir @ Bunty, S/o Mittar Singh, R/o Pratap Nagar, Behta Hajipur, aged 35 years, and Radhey Prajapati, S/o Brahampal, aged 30 years—were shot by unidentified assailants. Both victims succumbed to their injuries during treatment at GTB Hospital. Accordingly, a case under Sections 103(1), 3(5) BNS, and 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered at PS Harsh Vihar, and investigation was initiated. During the course of investigation, forensic teams examined the crime scene and collected crucial evidence. Considering the gravity of the offence, multiple teams—including Operations Cell/NE and PS Harsh Vihar staff—were deployed under the supervision of Shri Surender Singh Rathi, ACP/Nand Nagri, and Shri Mangesh Gedam, ACP/Ops/NE, to gather clues and apprehend the culprits at the earliest. The teams worked diligently, developed intelligence through various sources, and, on the basis of the collected leads, arrested the following four suspects involved in the crime: 1. Chetanya Tomar @ Tashu Tomar , S/o Harish Kumar, R/o Gali No. 11, Sabndoli Bagh, Harsh Vihar, Age 18 yrs. 2. Pradeep Bhati, S/o Rohtash Singh, R/o Anoop Vihar, U.P., Age 22 yrs. 3. Pawan Bhati @ Dagga, S/o Rohtash Singh, R/o Anoop Vihar, U.P., Age 24 yrs. 4. Pramod, S/o Anuj Pratap Singh, R/o Anoop Vihar, U.P., Age 25 yrs. During their sustained interrogation, the accused admitted to their involvement and disclosed that their motive of murder was an old enmity with the deceased.
