Raga Bageshri is a late evening raga (around 9 pm–midnight), known for its deep, introspective and devotional mood. Rooted in the Kafi thaat, it uses komal Ga and komal Ni, creating a soft, inward-turning atmosphere. This raga evokes longing, surrender, and inner stillness. Its slow, flowing movements and subtle ornamentation make it especially suitable for meditation and spiritual settings. In this recording, Raga Bageshri is combined with the sacred AUM sound, allowing the flute tones and the primordial vibration to merge into a contemplative sound field.
