Backlog...my 2-month project~ Finally have time to upload videos, so busy these days. This is an unexpected performance venue, and my jaw literally dropped when the place was fully packed with audience. Imagine I thought there would be only 5-10 people, most of whom would be only friends, and I did not dare ask many people to come over as I am not sure about how my playing quality would work out either, but now I am seeing like 500 unknown faces....freaking out lol But it was a wonderful experience. I suddenly have a feeling of connecting with the audience. But the venue is big for me, and I still tried hard to throw myself into the vastness. Next time I need to ground myself further, and I felt the importance of having an orchestra to anchor on. Suddenly having Brahms2 in mind and deciding in a second to do this in the concert was the perfect timing. It helps me think about Rach from a different angle, and to especially experiment with the purity of German style of harmony. I still go too fast it seems though haha. And I seem to see fragments of goodies but they are not connecting with each other yet for a seamless experience. The execution as always is the most difficult bit! It's like I am trying to steer a big ship but it's really a bit big. Music is more and more about life experiences to me. The playing itself will always be imperfect, but you are getting more each time, and every time you experience something inspiring in life, you project those in your playing, and that forms a new kind of experience. The progress and the personal memories associated with the event is where perfection lies. Life is so short you just won't know what happens next. So, go out and get yourself some goodies while you still can. Treat yourself well. Spread and receive love. Because on this day, I felt like a queen👑
