35028 'Clan Line' fights the elements on the 'Valentine Pullman' | 15/02/20

2020's Valentine's weekend was greeted by the second Storm of the month, but none the less Merchant Navy 35028 'Clan Line' took charge of UK Railtours 'Valentine Pullman' luncheon special. Originating at London Victoria the train ran outwards via the Chiltern Mainline through High Wycombe and Princess Risborough, before diverging back south at Bicester where we see our first shot at Islip. After watering at Oxford, we see the Bulleid speeding along the GWR mainline at Goring shortly before turning onto the SWR lines at Reading and heading round to Guildford and rejoining the usual Belmond circuit via the Surry Hills where our final shot at Albury is taken. Once again the weather was the defining factor of the day so apologies for the quality of some shots, but the immaculate Merchant made the day as always! Hope you enjoy.
