SHOW POSITIVO- KINETIC ART The fifth edition of Show Positive consolidates the event, as the new reference for the international hairdressing. Applause, tears and many more emotions is what more than 900 people felt last Sunday 25th of October at 4 p.m , attending the 5th edition of ´´Show Positivo´´under the motto Kinetic Art, Energy, Movement and Art at the Salón Look Madrid at Ifema, organized by X-PRESION. A show that in just 5 editions has managed to become an international showcase for hundreds of followers from different continents. A show that following the solidary dynamic of the previous edition with their project ¨Bosque Positivo¨ and the support of hundreds of people from the industry, has achieved to plant 349 trees. In order to this happen, part of the funds raised from the ¨Show Positivo¨ as well as other activities related to X-Presion, will be used to plant the¨Positive Forest¨. Under X-Presion´s motto ¨ express, create, spread¨ Show Positivo showed with its fifth edition the avant-garde in hairstyling and makeup betting on the visual art, a show that ¨crossed the borders¨ This year in Show Positivo highlighted the importance of the presence of makeup professionals in hairdressing salons, with the make-up artist of the stars Lewis Amarante, the forefront applied to the salon of the charismatic Sally and Jamie from Brooks and Brooks and X-Presion, trends creators and the inventors of # xpresionpixel, the last color revolution. And the list continues with a show immersed in the visual universe of Kimatica, video-art movement. The four stamps landed today in Show Positivo ready to leave the audience astonished with their unmistakable characters marked from the excellence where innovation fully assumes its meaning. THE PROTAGONISTS: LEWIS AMARANTE- THE STARS´ MAKE-UP ARTIST AND TOP TEN WORLD´S BEST MAKE UP ARTIST Lewis presented a more commercial look according to the trends of the next season. It´s about understanding beauty as a global concept in which hair and makeup unite to create a total look using the face as a canvas and hair as part of this canvas. All the looks presented are based on the trends of this Fall-Winter season where the tones that predominate remind us dried roses´ petals as well as natural looks with bright and clean skins. Fashion trends: smoky eyes, aubergine and purple colours, maroon, red matte and pink tones inspired by dried petals. BROOKS & BROOKS-THREE TIMES WINNERS OF ´British Hairdressing London Hairdresser of the Year´ The charismatic Jamie and Sally Brooks, whose motto is based on simplicity, presented us a couple of looks in which texture gained prominence. They worked on simply and easy to do techniques in just 4 minutes while they were changing the hair texture using hands like main tool. Fashion trends: simplicity, texture and fast techniques X-PRESION- THE CREATIVE STUDIO THAT HAS REVOLUTIONIZED THE WORLD OF COLOUR The trio of hairdressers X-PRESION came up on the stage to a burst of applause from the hundreds of participants and presented us two of their collections: POLLUTION and INFLUENCERS. • Pollution: a collection that gives continuity to the Bosque Positivo, wants to convey a social message, an idea based on the pollution from the factories in which synthetic materials are mixed with natural hair. • Influencers: Consists on the influence that X-Presion´s work has had on the hairdressers on a international level with techniques famous all around the world such us #xpresionpixel and #xpresionthread. Fashion trends: ripple/wave effects, mix of styles, pixel hair, intertwined threads, colour effects, mix of textures between hair and fibres. Between both shows KIMATICA left us speechless with their show of ¨body mapping¨, a technique created by them where visual reacts to the body movement in real time.
