Room rate occupancy at the Terrace Bay resort along Namibia's northern coast has shown a marked increase during the just-concluded holiday season. Compared to the previous holiday season of December 2024 to January 2025, occupancy rates showed an eight percent increase from the 53 percent recorded during the previous holiday season. Terrace Bay, named after its terrace-like stony and rugged beaches, lies in the heart of the world-famous Skeleton Coast National Park. It is one of only two establishments managed by the Namibia Wildlife Resorts in the Skeleton Coast Park. The other being the Torra Bay camping site, south of Terrace Bay. Acting Manager Beata Onesmus said, "We had more clients in December 2025 compared to 2024. I think we also just moved up the game because we had a special running up to now from December.
