One pull of the trigger and I relieved the first man of his career opportunities. Unfortunately, his friend in the Talon responded with anti-capitalist bullets, and I quickly became a free-market casualty. But that’s the beauty of Pyro: while I was busy losing blood and faith in public healthcare, my comrade paid forward the invisible hand of the market with an FS-9 light machine gun. In a hail of democratic, lead-based redistribution, the smugglers were persuaded to transfer their goods to us—voluntarily, of course. We walked away with their narcotics, worth several million aUEC—a tidy reminder that in Pyro, freedom is never free, but drugs can be. Did justice prevail? Did liberty triumph?
