This is THE most impactful upgrade you can make to a house and it's usually very simple to do. Now, if you don't have an attic it can become tricky, but I'm here to show you how to do it anyway! Here I will show you how to hook up a brand new light switch, run brand new wire to your lights, and connect it all up. Now - there is a little bit of drywall work you'll need to fix. You don't have attic access if you're watching this (probably), so while you can run most of your wire in between the joists, you will have to drill holes through at least run of joists and that will require cutting through some sheetrock.
