Slow Down With Me | A Quiet Winter Ride in Omaha

I wasn’t about to waste it. This ride was one I really needed. For me, getting on the bike is a reset button — it clears my head and puts things back in order. If I go too long without riding, things get a little screwy upstairs. I’m riding one of my favorite loops: east to the Field Club Trail, south under I-80, west on the South Omaha Trail, then back north to the Keystone Trail and straight east through Aksarben toward home. Even with spring-like temperatures, winter was still written all over the landscape. Bare trees, quiet colors, and small moments of beauty if you slow down enough to notice. I’ve sprinkled in still photos of things that caught my eye along the way — including a butterfly… in February. Make of that what you will. Thanks for riding along with me.
