This shows how to trap 3 of the ghosts inside the ghost house (blue, pink and gold). Red can not be trapped inside as he starts outside of the house. You first get killed. Next you wait until the gold ghost (Clyde) exits the house BUT you can not have eaten more than 32 dots. Then you go to the energizer and eat the blue ghosts. They will be trapped inside as long as you eat a dot every 3 or 4 seconds depending on the level. The Pac-Man Dossier explains this in greater detail, but basically the ghosts all have self-timers to exit the ghost house. However, once Pac-man loses a life, it switches over to a global timer as long as Clyde is inside the house and less than 32 dots have been eaten. So, after capturing them, you have to eat a dot every 3-4 seconds (depending on the level). each time you eat a dot, the timer is reset back to 0. You can keep doing this for a while.
