I went to see a friend in Sakon Nakhon and also to see proper, rural Thailand. On the way there, I nearly ran over something on the highway and I initially thought it was my worst nightmare come true (seeing a child lying there) but luckily, it turned out to be nothing more than a blanket but it still destroyed me inside. I also had a nasty experience with pile of sand on the highway, I honestly thought it was game over!
