There is no higher word in heaven than holy. The angels around God’s throne cry, “Holy, holy, holy.” The elders fall down before Him. Scripture commands us to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. So why do we use that word so casually? In this message, I challenge believers — not the world — to recover reverence for the holiness of God. Before Christ, we were defiled. Outside the camp. Unfit vessels. But through His blood, we have been redeemed and declared holy. That means we now have the honor of crying “Holy” to our Creator. Let’s not drag heaven’s highest word into the lowest categories of speech. This isn’t about legalism. It’s about awe. It’s about honor. It’s about remembering who God is.
