Situated near Char Dham, it is considered as one of the major places of pilgrimage in Namchi and among the best places to visit in Namchi. 09. Namchi Ropeway:- One of the major destination of tourist is Namchi Ropeway. 08. Samdruptse Guru Padmasambha Statue :- Samdruptse means "The wish fulfilling hill" in local Bhutia language. situated an altitude of 2134 m (7000 ft). Towering at a height of 148 feet and surrounded by emerald forests, you will be able to spot this magnificent gilded statue of Sikkim’s guardian saint from miles away. 07. Doling Gompa :- Doling Gompa is situated on a small hillock; serene and green Barfung village, is just 4 km away from Ravangla. The monastery follows one of the oldest sects; the Nyingmapa sect of Buddhism. 06. Bhaichung Stadium:- Bhaichung Bhutia Stadium is situated in Namchi, South Sikkim. Bhaichung Bhutia became the first footballer in India who got a stadium named after him, and what makes it special is that it is in his home state.. 05. Maenam wildlife sanctuary:- Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife reserve in the Namchi district of the Indian state of Sikkim covering an area of around 35 square kilometres (14 sq mi). The literal meaning of maenam-la is "treasure-house of medicines". 04. Tareybhir View Point:- Tarey Bhir is located near the small beautiful village called Sadam in south Sikkim. The place is a natural wonder, a perfect place for the people who love adventure. Bhir in a local Nepali language means cliff, and as the name depicts is 3500 feet cliff into the abyss. The pathway is constructed over the edge of the ridge which is about 4 km long which makes it looks like the great wall of China. 03. Temi Tea Garden & Tendon Hill:- Established in the year 1969 by the Government of Sikkim, Temi tea plants are growing along the steep slopes of the hills emerging from the Tendong Hills; ranging from 120o to 1800 m. The 177 hectare spread gardens of Temi produce the premium quality tea leafs having international demand. 02. Buddha Park :- The Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, is situated near Rabong (Ravangla) in South Sikkim district, Sikkim, India. It was constructed between 2006 and 2013 and features a 130-foot (40 m) high statue of the Buddha as its centerpiece. The statue, built of 60 tonnes of copper, is an example of repousse work. 01. Char Dham:- Char Dham or Siddheshwar Dham is a famous tourist attraction in Sikkim. It is a replica of all the 12 Jyotirlingas and Char Dhams in India. One will find a 33 m massive Shiva statue raised on the Solophok hilltop which is at a distance of about 5 km from Namchi Town. The four most revered Dhams of the Hindus Jagannath, Dwarika, Rameshawaram, Badrinath has been replicated in this fantastic complex.
