Beautifull naat by Shaykh Azhar Iqbal. Shaykh Muhammad Azhar Iqbal was born and raised in Karachi and travelled to the United States for his undergraduate studies. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and did his graduate studies in Economics at New York University prior to returning to Pakistan to pursue his study of the Islamic sciences. Formally authorized by Hazrat Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad in the science of Islamic spirituality (Tasawwuf) in 2003, Shaykh Azhar also completed the eight year Alim course studying at the school located on his Shaykh's sanctuary. During his studies he was fortunate to spend significant amount of time in the Shaykh's company, accompanying him on many national and international dawa tours. Shaykh Azhar recently moved back to Karachi where he now assists seekers on the path of Tasawwuf. Since his return to Karachi he has been involved different dawa activities including weekly lectures at different locations in Karachi, lectures in different universities like GIKI, Karachi University, Liaqat University of Medical & Health Sciences, PAF KEIT etc, tasfir classes for men and special tafseer classes for women. A special religious gathering for men is held every week and that for women is held every month. Recite the naat[vi], Subhan Allah" Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah [i] This verse is referring to the Suratul-Layl and Suratud-Duha. Al-Layl means 'the night' and Ad-Duha means 'the forenoon' [ii] The dialogue in these verses are Allah Ta'aala speaking to Rasulullah Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam [iii] Siddiq refers to Abu Bakr As-Siddiq Radhiya Allahu Anhu, the best friend of Rasulullah Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam [iv] Haider refers to Ali Radhiya Allahu Anhu, the cousin and son inlaw of Rasulullah Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam [v] Saify refers to the author of this naat [vi] Naat refers to praises (especially in regards to Rasulullah Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam)
