Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords of Tesla. This lesson features a number of great intro sections and guitar parts from a variety of Tesla songs and while this lesson is primarily an acoustic-focused lesson, Tesla definitely had their share of electric guitar riffs, licks, and solos too. Tesla was massively popular during the mid/late 1980s and into the early 1990s, but by the time the "alternative revolution" hit the scene, they remained active but their popularity never returned to the frenzied level they reached in the '80s. This lesson captures a number of interesting guitar riffs and chordal parts featuring basic chords and unique movements, but the way they put their guitar parts, riffs, and songs together really pushed their music to greater heights. There's a lot you can learn from tackling and reviewing the basics, and with a band like Tesla, you should locate and find a number of new ways of combining simple chords, parts, and concepts.
