FAREWELL LITTLE FIGHTER Ximwangwe Cub

The tragic death of the Ximwangwe lioness the mother of this young male cub, sadly marks the end of an era of no more continuation from Ximwangwe’s direct blood line. Ximwangwe lioness was the last surviving daughter born in 2012 of the legendary Selati males, who had previously killed, and overthrown the great and notorious Mr T Mapogo. Following the death of the amazing matriarch who died from her injuries by a Hyena attack a couple of months ago along with this cubs male sibling, and this sadly meant leaving this one remaining young male cub in the care of only one adult lioness pride member who has two female sub adults of her own, and their two fathers, the Plains Camp males. Only surviving on a few bits of meat from various kills following his mothers death, very rapidly the young cub had become emaciated from severe lack of nutrition, due to not receiving his mothers milk as being the main source of his diet. The young Ximwangwe cub was left clutching on to life with every inch of fight he had within himself, but sadly a number of weeks following the loss of his mother, it was evident to the pride members and fathers, that they could do no more for him and they went on their way, leaving the cub behind to his final fate. Sadly he was never seen again following his father’s last sighting with him and the last bit of time spent together, therafter, he then made his break from the cub, and his severe cries of being left behind went unanswered.
