If you've written a few feature screenplays or TV pilots, you've probably written a few query letters as well. Not easy, are they? And then more often than not, the result is the same: "not what we're looking for at this time," if you hear anything back at all. Most reps and producers will at least glance at a query before they delete it. You have to do everything in your power to ensure that your query stands out. You have ten seconds. Go!
