FLYING IN TASMANIA | C172 from Wynyard via Cradle Mountain and Launceston to Bridport

In October 2017, I was visiting Tasmania for a few days. Before the trip begun, I got in touch Michael Russell via Facebook, because I saw one of his posts in the AOPA pilots group and I wanted to take the opportunity and go flying while I was at the other end of the world. Long story short, we agreed to meet at his home base and see how far the good weather would take us that day. It was an incredible day with Michael. We flew from Wynyard in the north of Tassi to Cradle Mountain and continued via the Great Lake and Launceston to Bridport. At Bridport we had some fish and chips before we flew back home along the coast line to Wynyard. Thanks Michael, it was a brilliant trip.
