CJI BR Gavai Attack: The Bar Council of India has suspended the lawyer who attempted to throw a shoe at Chief Justice BR Gavai in the Supreme Court. Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi stated that no words are sufficient to condemn the attack in the Supreme Court. CJI BR Gavai does not want any action taken against Rakesh Kishore, the lawyer who attempted to throw the shoe. SG Mehta said, "Today's incident in the Chief Justice's court is unfortunate.
