Anglican Minister Mark Leach says Australia has a “wonderful history” of being a cohesive and inclusive society as he condemned the actions of protesters at the Sydney Opera House last year. The rally outside the Sydney landmark took place two days after Hamas attacked Israel on October 7. Mr Leach sat down with Sky News host Sharri Markson to discuss his experience at the protest and what he witnessed outside the Sydney Opera House. “The only silver lining I can see out of October the 9th is that it has revealed the extent of this deep division," he said. “And this ugly racist seam of hatred. “We as Australians need to say no to that hatred.”
