Rover Chassis Prototype

I present the prototype of the Martian Rover rocker-boogie type chassis for the European Rover Challenge. Project had to be relatively simple and cheap. Application of various easy to buy elements was neccessary but also few original solutions had to be designed. Model still lacks many parts, some parts has to be redisigned and final assembly is to be done. For example it lacks a differential for the rocker-boogie ballance effect. It was developed from the scratch solely by the author on the basis of how modern planetary rovers are built (rocker-boogie type) - for it is proven and effective design. Project is an intellectual property of Łukasz Okapa of Lublin University of Technology. Educational version of CATIA V5 has been used.
