An asphalted equipped yard which spreads to an area of about 70.000 square mt and directly linked to the Port of Leghorn through the state highway FI-PI-LI, guarantees the entire and smooth efficiency of the operations, especially the drop off and transit, while the fixing up of dry and reefer containers takes place in an indoor area equipped with bulk carriers, welding apparatus, foaming and particles extractors machines. When studying the correct engineering equipment implementations and cargo procedures, the attention has been focused on the management of activities concerning reefer containers, where it resulted that the level of customer service provided is faster and qualitatively higher. To support this need, a Pre-Trip Inspection area of 26 electric outlets has been created to control and monitor the refrigerated units and the warehouse for reefers spare parts is continuously subject to a fast and periodic preparation also thanks to the dealer qualification of Coremas Polaris, obtained directly by suppliers like Carrier, Thermoking, Daikin, Maersk, Starcool and Paul Klinge regarding ATEX replacements. Furthermore, five vans equipped with a wide range of spare parts assist 24h/7 our reefer engineers during transit and travel repairing.
