Metroid Prime Remix: Parasite Queen/Frigate Orpheon

A remix of the Parasite Queen boss music. The original track had this intense, horrified vibe of facing a monstrous experiment gone wrong. We aimed to capture that twisted, horrific theme in this piece with sick synths, trembling strings, and pounding percussion. We titled this Orpheon's Prometheus, referencing a title for the original Frankenstein (the book, not the movies that wrecked the entire theme of the story.) The parasite queen was created in a horror show lab of monsters where sick, twisted minds sought to mutate creatures into super weapons.
