This is my Phantom 1 with 4 Liitokala 4000 mah ,21700 batteries. These are the highest discarge rate Li Ion batteries in the world and are made in China . They the best for high discharge rate and compared to the newest Tesla batteries ,Liitokala 21700 can be discharged at a constant rate with 40 amps while Tesla best its 15 amps. 4 of these batteryes fit inside the original Phantom shell but the board glued with somme neoprene had to be moved 7 mm higher. Flight time its 25 minutes fast flight or maybe more if it just hovers. Because it has 4S ( has 4 batteries instead of just 3 as the original Phantom battery) ,it flyes faster. Since li ion batteries are much lighter than Li polimer ,the drone it can carry more power and fly longer. This battery pack its better than 5400 mah li po (3S Phantom 2 or 3) because it has more power to weight ratio and an aditional benefit its that Li ion batteries last more charging cycles. Liitokala 21700 batteries are rated at 4000 mah but they have more ,4250 -4300 mah each. The charging time its 16-18 hours for all 4 batteries with a fast charger iphone charger.( The charging sistem its not the best but does the job). Altough this modification can turn your Phantom 1 into a long flight time beast,i am not responsible for any damage that you do following this video.
