Hello! This is my new animation project OPEN PLAN CO-WORKING SPACE DESIGN THROUGH THE THRESHOLD THEORY APPROACH RELATED TO THE COVID-19 PROTOCOL for my architecture thesis defense in 2021. Abstract : The Work From Home (WFH) policy which had implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, demands a more flexible way of working. In which one of the answers, companies can decentralize their headquarters to a co-working space as a solution to issues of productivity, cost efficiency, and collaboration. However, the open-plan concept in co-working spaces had known for its minimal spatial boundaries which are precisely what is needed to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The architectural field introduces the concept of a threshold as a boundary that is expected to be able to present components or elements related to preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus in an open-plan workspace. Hence, this study aims to produce a safe and comfortable workplace design in the form of an open-plan co-working space as an approach to the headquarters decentralization concept related to the COVID-19 phenomenon.
