Simple jig for fitting neck to cutting a cigar box to take neck.

Here's a jig I made to make cutting boxes to take the neck more accurate, easier and quicker. I did this specifically for our standard boxes, but with a bit of care it can be used for different boxes. When I put a photo of it on Facebook it got me to the thinking how I could make an improved version which would take different sized boxes. The trick would be to make it so that automatically centres on the box, so that's going to need a bit of thinking about. I've already got some ideas on how to get the sides to slide to accommodate different widths of box, and I think some sort of "pantograph" type of linkage could co-ordinate the sides so that they always centre on the box.
