Sailing vessel Tapatya. I get Tapatya ready for winter storage - pumping out the water tanks and frost protecting the engine, then we head over to the travelift and she gets lifted out. This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build. At the time of writing, I've launched the boat and amn conducting sea trials. This coming winter, I'll be upgrading her based on what I've learnt and getting ready to sail further afield :) These videos take a lot of time and effort to make, in what is already a time-intensive project.
