What does it mean to live generously according to the Bible? It starts when your heart aligns with the Holy Spirit—and you open your hands to give your first and best to God. Not out of obligation, but out of love. 💡 Jesus taught that generosity is foundational to a flourishing faith. You are never more like God than when you GIVE freely and generously - motivated by love - expecting nothing in return. In fact, in the Bible we see that Jesus talked more about money and possessions than Heaven and Hell combined—not because He wants your wallet, but because He’s after your heart. As Jesus famously said in Matthew 6:21, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” 💸 True generosity isn’t about the amount, it’s about the sacrifice. Jesus honored a poor widow who gave just two small coins to the temple because it was all she had to live on. Her offering was tiny in value, but massive in trust. Notice: In the eyes of God, your attitude counts more than the amount you give. 🌾 In Bible times, God’s people brought their “Firstfruits”—the first 10% of their harvest—to the temple. This ancient practice of tithing showed deep trust in God's provision. The principle is simple and remains true today: GIVE the first, so God can BLESS the rest. Why? God isn’t after your resources—He wants a relationship. And every relationship is built on trust. 🧡 So here are some important questions to consider: Where are you on the journey to generosity? Do you have a SCARCITY Mindset? Or an ABUNDANCE Mentality? Would you rather live on 90% that’s blessed by God or 100% without His blessing? Watch Pastor Tim Lucas’s message and learn what a generous heart looks like. ______________________________ STAY CONNECTED: Liquid Church Website: http://www.liquidchurch.com/ Liquid Church Facebook: / liquidchurch Liquid Church Instagram: / liquidchurch Liquid Church Twitter: / liquidchurch Email: Info@LiquidChurch.com ______________________________ ABOUT LIQUID CHURCH: Liquid Church exists to build people up with God’s hope and love.
