Healing and Spiritual Cleansing During Dia De Los Muertos Mexico City

So... hmm..... let me explain what just happened. We received a spiritual cleanse from an Aztec Shaman (curandero) during the Dia de los Muertos festivities in Mexico City. The cleanse was provocative right down to the soul, the bones. I personally have not been that much at peace in a while, and some would say, "it's superstition; it's a placebo effect," but I say otherwise. Me and Jay would like to say that we're of Taino descent (native Caribbeans pre-columbus), and see many cultural similarities; thus why it was so impactful. I don't believe this is cultural appropriation, as this Mexican people were encourage and supporting that we try it.
