King Arthur's Carousel Disneyland full Band Organ music (1983-2005)

Happy birthday to Disneyland's New Fantasyland, opened on this day in 1983! It really was 40 years ago today that Disney unveiled revamped takes on several classic Fantasyland attractions, as well as the additions of Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Village Haus Restaurant (Closed in 2017), and vastly improved buildings and architecture throughout the land. The 1955-82 tournament tent façades were replaced with the lovingly detailed European village architecture intact today. I will be uploading two or three audio tracks tonight from this revamped land, followed by a few more tomorrow. The first is this fantastic 1983-2005 Band Organ source audio from King Arthur's Carrousel. Although I was born near the end of this version's run and only remember the also fantastic 2005-present version, I really love all versions of the King Arthur's Carrousel music and am happy to have the source audio here with several rotating pictures (Not owned by me), all taken during the time that they played this music. Each one plays for a little over a minute, but because I couldn't find more images from this era, each image is shown twice. This music featured many classic Disney songs from Walt's golden age of animation, including but not limited to Casey Jr, Mickey Mouse Club March, Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf, Once Upon A Dream, When You Wish Upon A Star, I've Got No Strings, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, So This Is Love, Spoonful of Sugar, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Zip A Dee Doo Dah, Someday My Prince Will Come, and You Can Fly. I consider that an impressive list of classics, even if it was composed before Disney's animation renaissance of the late 1980's-1990's. One thing I like about the 2005 version is how it combines several songs from that era with many of the older classics also in this 1983 version. This was the third of four versions of King Arthur's Carousel's Band Organ. The first of these lasted from 1955-1968 and played traditional Circus songs and marches instead of the medley of Disney classics present since the second, 1968-1982 version. The Carrousel was closed during much of early 1982-May 1983 so they could move it back from the Castle several feet to release congestion, repaint the whole structure & horses, and give it this music. However, since 1983, the once functioning Band Organ has been located next to the Dumbo attraction, with a speaker casting that audio live on the Carrousel. Apparently the Dumbo Band Organ switched to a pre-recorded version sometime in the 1990's or 2000's, though I think I'd be cool if they brought it back someday. The other audio track(s) that I will be uploading tonight are the 1983-current Queue music for Peter Pan's Flight, and possibly the 1983-2008 Mr Toad's Wild Ride Queue music. I really love the distinctive sounds of this soundtrack and am really happy to have it on my channel, especially for the 40th anniversary of New Fantasyland! I hope you enjoy this classic audio!
