We're planning a weekend trip to the Saarschleife (Saar Loop) and would like to photograph the Milky Way and possibly the sunrise, as well as explore the treetop walk. Unfortunately, our planned first campsite is completely empty, and we have to find an alternative at 11:30 p.m. Thankfully, we can leave right away the next morning. The spot was so cough beautiful that we completely forgot to film it. We continue on to Mettlach to the Saarschleife, where we find a much better campsite. In the afternoon, we take a short walk and spend a quiet Saturday. That night, Lars makes two trips to the Saarschleife and photographs of the Milky Way and the sunrise from the viewpoint—will the conditions be good enough for good photos? Before we head home on Sunday, we visit the treetop walk.
